7 Ways to Make 2004 Your Most Successful Y..

Another year is upon us, and if you are anything like me, you are devising a plan to make 2004 your most successful year ever in your business. Here are seven ways to do just that:

1) READ ALL THE MOTIVATIONAL BOOKS YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON. Nothing keeps your momentum and drive going better than motivational tools. Read for about 30 minutes a day every day to keep you going. Some books I highly recommend are: "5 Important Things" by Jim Palunch, "Think and grow rich" by Napolean Hill, "Make It, so You Don't Have to Fake It" by Patricia Fripp, and "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie There are a host of others. Just do a search for 'motivational books' on your favourite search engine or go to www.amazon.com

2)GOALS You can't just write down a few goals in a book, and stuff it in a drawer to be found a few months from now. You must VISUALIZE your goal, as well as write them down, and review them EVERY DAY! I have a poster board sitting on top of my computer, with 3x5 index cards taped to it. On the index cards, I have my goals, what I need to do to reach them, some inspirational quotes, stickers,and written in all different colours. It is where I will see it, and I am constantly reminded of what my goals are and how I'm going to get there! You can also cut pictures out of a magazine and post them around your house - cars, your dream house, whatever it is you want! It's OK to Dream Big!

3)BELIEVE IN YOURSELF Don't just 'think' you can. KNOW you can. Use positive affirmations to build your confidence. Say things like "I AM successful." Do this several times a day. Persevere!

4)TAKE AN HONEST LOOK AT YOUR COMPANY When you think about your network marketing company, or you are considering joining a new one, ask yourself these two questions: If you were not involved in the business opportunity, would you buy the product or service anyway? - If the answer is no, find another company. If you don't believe in the products, how can convince others to believe in them? Would you buy that product or service at that price? If you wouldn't pay the price for your products, it's unlikely anyone else will.

5)REMEMBER THAT THE INTERNET IS A TOOL Don't limit your advertising to just the Internet. (You need to pick up that phone!) It's important for people to realize they are dealing with a 'real' person, not just some website, or email address. Talk to people, and make sure they have a way to get in touch with you, either by postal or phone. If you are uncomfortable giving out your postal address, rent a post office box. Use the 5-point prospecting system: always have your ad available in 5 different mediums: magazines, newspapers, Ezines, start pages, safelists, radio, tv.. you get the picture.

6) KEEP YOURSELF BALANCED Don't forget to take time out for yourself, your family and your spirituality. Take your kids out for lunch, go to a day spa, practice your faith by going to church or doing a bible study.

7)DON'T QUIT! Never, never, never, never, never GIVE IN!! Just keep going, keep going forward, and persevere!

Keep a positive attitude, believe in what you are doing, remember what your goals are, review them daily, and never give up! If you do all of these things, you are sure be a success in 2004!
