In the first article of this series, we came to understand that the correct use of "words" translated to mean. "Copywriting" is the #1 most important skill we should develop for our pursuit of online success.
Referred to as "salesmanship" in print, "copywriting" could be said to be the basis of all "communication".
Everywhere you go you are surrounded by "Salesmanship" in print. Newspapers, magazines, radio ads, television ads, infomercials and on and on.
A day in your life does not exist without mass exposure to "salesmanship" in print.
Who writes these words that are then turned into all the ads we are exposed to each day?
"Copywriters" and they are the engine that propels the economy.
When you are exposed to these ads and you find yourself reading and reading with interest in the words....do you think this is by accident?
I am here to tell you that "NO" it is not by accident.
You make your buying decisions based on emotion and then you justify with logic. The ads you are exposed to are all crafted to appeal to you on a subconscious emotional level.
Have you ever found yourself reading an ad and felt as if you were hypnotized?
When you are watching television you are in a hypnotic state.... and guess what happens when you are in a hypnotic state. You are open to suggestion. Your defences are down.... and before you know it you are whipping out your credit card to make yet another purchase.
