No home-based business owner will contradict me if I say: If nobody sees your product then you will make no sale.

Three years ago, when I started my first business on the Internet, I had no idea of how traffic can be important. I did not pay great attention to it. I believed that it was enough to have a beautiful product to sell so that many people will come to buy it...

Obviously, it does not work that way.

I get really disappointed when I saw my traffic counter which indicated: "You had 2 visitors yesterday".

I was really scared.

God only knows all the efforts I made to design my software. Two months of programming and $571 of various expense. And what? Three sales during the first year!

That was 3 years ago and I made huge steps forward since that. The first great step was to read marketing books from both the public library and the Internet.

I wanted to know about all the ways of attracting people and how to make the promotion for my software. Traffic was going to become my obsession.

In the beginning, all those books seemed to me to be interesting. I was just a beginner and the marketing world was very obscure for me. Yes, my trick is computers programming... not marketing.

Now with my modest experience, I learned how to distinguish the method that works and those which do not.

How?

Using the "test-failure-test-success" cycle of course!

Everytime I learned a new promotion method, I put it to the test. Then I control the result of the compaign: A quick glance on my web stats and order book for my software.

Any improvement the sales or any increase in visitors number or quality are all positive results. In this case I go on with this method. If the results are negative I write down the method in my DO-NOT list.

I tested all the known methods which I heard of. Thus I have a list of all the promotion methods which succeeded in attracting interesting people to my website.

Soon a problem appeared. I had to repeat certain tasks so that promotion remains effective. As a programmer, my time devoted to marketing is very tight.

So I gathered a selection of the methods which I can automate.

Yes, automation.

When I had the results of the automation of my favourite marketing systems, I was amazed.

Imagine. With automation you can build a mechanism which will continue to perform without any effort on your part.

All you have to do is to set it up and forget it. Then it will give you results forever. Automation is the ideal solution for me. Really!

When I discovered what can AUTOMATION do to TRAFFIC I reached the dream of every business owner on the Net.

Just imagine a free advertising that takes care of itself and attracts people to your website automatically even when you are asleep!

If I have to summarize my experience on the Internet, I will retain three words: Traffic, Quality and Automation.

Please, do not join a program which does not fit all these three criteria!
