With the rising costs in pay per click advertising and search engine marketing, more and more webmasters are searching for effective methods of free advertising. While the net provides a multitude of free advertising opportunities, not all these 'free traffic' methods will deliver on their promises. Before engaging your time and effort on marketing strategy, it is important to do a careful analysis of an advertising plan. To establish if an advertising strategy will work well for you, you may want to look at some factors such as:
1)If the ads reach real human beings
2) If these recipients are targeted or non targeted
3)If there are any incentives given to your prospects

Ezines provide a great way of free advertising with good conversion rates. This is so because most subscribers are people with an interest in a particular area. While ezines derive a significant number of their subscriptions from advertisers, there are a good number of ezines with impressive numbers of targeted subscribers and observing high quality delivery standards.
To post advertisements on engines free, you may use an ezine submitter tool or do a search for ''free ezines" where you can make your posts easily. We have compiled a database of ezine directories where you can post your ads with convenience (this requires registration which is free).

RSS advertising:
RSS (really simple syndicator) is a way of syndicating content / news on your site that you want others to know about. Your content will appear on News search Engines, personalized start pages and on thousands of web sites. In addition to free traffic, you also stand a chance of getting thousands of keyword targeted links to your site.
